The South Salem Animal Hospital had a great time at The Lewisboro Library Fair on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Onatru Farm in South Salem.
The event was a true celebration of community and I really enjoyed interacting with both new and familiar folks who readily share stories about their brave, happy and loving pets. I was especially pleased to hear from existing clients about pets we’ve helped who’ve overcome adversities and who are thriving today.
I’m happy to report that the four kittens we had up for adoption have all found a loving home. We are still, however, looking for a place for Billy, one of the greatest, loving adult cats of all time. Please contact us if you are interested in offering Billy a forever home.
Lulu, the bulldog I adopted a couple of years ago, was also on hand. She had a lot of fun performing her three tricks for anyone who would indulge her: sit, bark and catch a biscuit. The kids at the fair enjoyed playing with the kittens, watching Big Stanley and the other roosters crow and meeting our mascot, Scooby.
There were many special and memorable moments throughout the day. It felt wonderful to be a part of this great annual event.
Thanks for stopping by to say hello and we hope to see you next year!
